“One of the most important films made about music, fame , addiction & recovery.”

— Dr. Stephen J. Johnson Ph.D., LMFT
Executive Director, Men’s Center of Los Angeles

The film has an important addiction recovery theme and message and proceeds  from the film benefit The Grammy Foundation  and MusiCares. Dan and Rob were in New York last month  to continue spreading the message of the film and foundation established in DJ AM’s memory by helping to organize and support  the annual MusiCares and Grammy Foundation concert event.  This year honoring Pete Townsend with performances by Bruce Springsteen and others.

MusiCares MAP Fund provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation. MusiCares sees the largest spike of people each year reaching out for assistance immediately following this event. This is the fourth year Dan and Rob have been working with Musicares.

Between them, Dan and Rob have attended over 30 MCLA Sacred Path Men’s retreats as participants and tribe leaders.
